There’s still time to see ‘The Forgotten Carols’

It’s a family tradition for many and that’s no surprise seeing as “The Forgotten Carols” is marking its 27th year of consecutive performances.

This year, the show has been from Heber to Gilbert, Ariz. since the tour started on November 20th.  If you haven’t seen it yet, there is still time. The show will be making a stop in Cedar City on Saturday and be back up north to Orem and Murray from Dec. 17th until Dec. 22nd.

Composer and writer Michael McLean’s original goal for “The Forgotten Carols” were to simply create a Christmas-themed collection of songs based around the “forgotten” characters in the Nativity. But he soon realized he needed a story to connect all the songs together.

Over the years, McLean’s modest one-man show has evolved into a huge theatrical production performed for more than a million people throughout the world.
