The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announces groundbreaking dates for 2 new temples

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 News) — The First Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints announced the groundbreaking dates fro two temple that will take place this year.

The Pocatello Idaho Temple will be the church’s 6th temple in Idaho and the groundbreaking ceremony is set to take place on March 16.

The Guam Temple will be the first temple in the United States territory of Guam. The groundbreaking ceremony is scheduled to take place on May 4. 

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints currently has 201 temples announced, under construction or operating worldwide.
