UTAH COUNTY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – After entering a guilty plea, the 16-year-old who admitted to stabbing his classmates in November was sentenced Thursday.
Luke Dollahite, 16, pleaded guilty to attempted aggravated murder in adult court. He admitted to going into a school locker room at Mountain View High School with the intent of doing harm.
Police reports showed Dollahite had five knives with him when he entered the school. He used them to stab his classmates in the locker room.
Thursday in court, a judge order him to remain in juvenile custody until he is 18. At that time, he will spend anywhere from 10 years to life in prison.
The judge will recommend he receive credit for his time served in juvenile custody. She said it will be up to a parole board to determine when he can be released.
