SWAT situation ends peacefully in Logan

LOGAN, Utah (ABC4 News) A SWAT standoff in Logan ended peacefully Monday evening.

Officers who responded to the scene were trying to talk a man down from suicide.

It unfolded near 400 North Main Street in the parking lot of a 7-Eleven convenience store.

The incident started as a felony vehicle search, but then the situation escalated and the SWAT team was called in.

The suspect was eventually taken into custody. No injuries were reported, and the area is now clear to commuter traffic.
