Suspects, victim in deadly shooting inside West Jordan Rancherito’s identified

WEST JORDAN, Utah (News4Utah) – Three people are in custody after a man was shot and killed inside of a restaurant in West Jordan Thursday.

The incident happened at 12:35 a.m. at the Rancherito’s located at 7849 South Redwood Road.

According to police, the 20-year-old victim, Noe Armijo-Luna, and one of the suspects, 22-year-old Jayden Olsen, had an “ongoing dispute”.

Olsen, and his friend,18-year-old Jonathan Hunt, tracked down Armijo-Luna while he was eating dinner, police say. The men got into an argument inside the restaurant. At some point, police say Hunt pulled out a gun and shot Armijo-Luna multiple times.

After the shooting, police say Olsen and Hunt got into a car with a 17-year-old girl and drove away.

The 20-year-old Midvale resident died at the hospital. 

Around 9 a.m. police confirmed they had Olsen, Hunt and the 17-year-old girl in custody.

Olson and Hunt will be booked into the Adult Detention Center on charges related to the incident.

The female is being referred to Juvenile Court also on charges related to the incident.
