PRESTON, Idaho (ABC4 News) – Authorities in Idaho are investigating a homicide after a man was found dead on Saturday.

Police said Wilden Lovin Jr., 31, was found dead in his home in Preston. Police said the person who found him reported the death was “not normal.”

When deputies responded, they immediately realized the “scene indicated foul play had been involved.”

“The victim was definitely killed. There’s no question about that. It was a homicide,” said Franklin County Sheriff David Fryar.

Preston Police Department, Idaho State Police Crime Lab, and State Police Detectives are all involved in the investigation.

Lovin’s body was taken to the Franklin County Coroner’s Office for an autopsy. When the autopsy is completed, they will release the cause of death.

Investigators said they have identified some persons of interest, but no arrests have been made.

This is a developing story. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
