Survivors and those living with Metastatic Breast Cancer are More Than Pink

Local News

SALT LAKE CITY (News4Utah)- In just two weeks breast cancer survivors, supporters, and friends will gather together at Sugar House Park with one goal: ending breast cancer forever.

The “More Than Pink Walk” is a tribute to survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer.

Funds raised during the walk could help a woman with no insurance get the treatment she needs or help fund scientific research that finds the cures.

The walk, put on by Susan G. Komen, has a vision that one day there will be a world without breast cancer.

The event will give participants a closer look at how their efforts are moving the needle in breast cancer research and in local breast cancer programs.

The MTP walk is Saturday, November 3rd at Sugar House Park located at 1330 East 2100 South.

Registration begins at 7:30 a.m., but the walk kicks off at 9 a.m. with an Opening Ceremony.
