MURRAY (ABC4 News) – An estimated 250,000 ACL-related injuries occur annually in the United States. ABC4’s own Sure Chinn fell victim to the injury after a skiing accident.
She went under the knife on Friday. A team from Intermountain Healthcare shared live tweets during the procedure, so you too could follow along.

During ACL surgery doctors look for any other problems with the knee. They found slight cartilage damage so they cleaned it up.
