HERRIMAN, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – Students from Herriman High and Providence hall Charter School gave their peers a distracted driving wake up call.
In partnership with Unified Police, Unified Fire Authority and University of Utah Air Med, students staged a crash to show what could happen if you get behind the wheel impaired or drive distracted.
The scenario was this: Evan Noble, a senior at Herriman High School, was driving and texting while the passenger in the car was drinking. Their car crashed into another car which caused two people to die. Noble and her passenger were arrested.

Those who organized the event hope that the students that were watching all of this unfold, don’t become a statistic.
