JUAB COUNTY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – Six students and the driver were injured in a school bus crash in Juab County Wednesday.

The crash happened on State Route 28 between Levan and Nephi.

Juab School District Superintendent Dr. Rick Robbins said six students suffered minor injuries. One child suffered a broken arm. The driver sustained more serious injuries. He was taken to the hospital by medical helicopter.

The students on the bus range in age from kindergarten to 6th. The bus was also carrying one junior high student. Officials say the children were students at Red Cliffs Elementary and Juab Jr. High School.

Robbins wanted parents to know that “all students on the bus have been transported home to their bus stop.”

At this time, it’s not clear what caused the crash.
