Student hit by elderly driver near Olympus High

HOLLADAY (News4Utah)- A student at Olympus High School ls recovering after she was hit by a an elderly man driving a car Friday morning.

It happened right in front of the school located at 4055 South 2300 East in Holladay around 7:40 a.m.

Police say the 86-year-old man did not see the 16-year-old girl crossing the street when he hit her. Investigators say the girl was in the crosswalk at the time.

Initially reports said the victim was in critical condition, but officials have upgraded the victim’s condition. She is expected to recover.
