SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 News) – Stonewall Sports hosted its Inaugural KICKOFF Day in Sugarhouse Park on Sunday.
The event promotes support of the LGBTQ+ community and sports.
The event is part of a nationwide Stonewall Sports effort to create an inclusive and fun space for the LGBTQ+ community.
Donors and sponsors, including Mayor Biskupski’s office, were in attendance to celebrate the organization’s grand start.
There were kickball games throughout the day with over 180 participants. Local food vendors also hosted a community grill-out.
