SOUTH OGDEN, Utah (News4Utah) – A man has been arrested after a woman was found stabbed to death outside on the ground in South Ogden Monday.
According to charging documents, Jesus Martinez Ramos, 44, was arrested after police were sent to 3700 S Washington Blvd on a call of a female body lying on the ground with flies on her with obvious stab wounds.
The woman was later identified as 54-year-old Shiela Jean Dunn of South Ogden. Police said she lived near where her body was found with two other individuals, Ramos, and another woman.
Both the female and Ramos agreed to be interviewed by police.
During the interview, Ramos admitted to stabbing the Dunn several times, and later carrying her body to where it was later discovered.
Ramos told detectives he cleaned up the crime scene and discarded all the evidence in a dumpster near his home.
The female told police she was at the residence when the Dunn was stabbed and saw Ramos stab the woman with a knife. The female also stated that Ramos threatened to stab her if she told on him.
The knife was later discovered in a dumpster near the home where Ramos said he had put it.

A motive for the stabbing was not made available.
Ramos was booked into the Weber County Jail on charges of first-degree felony criminal homicide and second-degree felony obstruction of justice.
