SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4 News) – The Utah National Guard, along with family and friends, will be welcoming home more than 100 soldiers from the 65th Field Artillery Brigade, ‘America’s Thunder.’
“The soldiers of this unit have completed, with honor, the mission assigned them in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility,” said Colonel Adam Robinson. “Their efforts are in keeping with the finest traditions of the United States Army and the Utah National Guard. They represented well the citizens of the great state of Utah.”
After being deployed to the Middle East for more than ten months, the soldiers will arrive at the Utah Air National Guard’s Wright Air Base in Salt Lake City, Thursday at 10 a.m. and 3:50 p.m.
