In honor of Police Week, the Salt Lake City Police Department paid tribute to its fallen officers Thursday afternoon.
Police officers read summaries about officers who have died in the line of duty. After they read a summary, they placed red flowers on a memorial to remember fallen officers here in Utah.
ATTENTION: As part of our SLCPD Fallen Officers Memorial, we will be honoring those we have lost in the line of duty with a 21-gun salute at the PSB. #LODD #PoliceWeek2019 pic.twitter.com/Z7ZrpHvhZD— SLC Police Dept. (@slcpd) May 16, 2019
