Shots fired during a bank robbery in Taylorsville

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (ABC4 News) A masked gunman robbed the TransWest Credit Union in Taylorsville Friday morning. Lt. Brian Lohrke with Unified Police says shots were fired during the robbery but no injuries. 

The robbery occurred at around 10:30 am at the credit union located at 6189 South and Redwood Road. 

According to UPD, there were a few customers and a few tellers in the bank at the time the robbery occurred. The suspect is described to be wearing all black clothing and a white mask. 

Police say the suspect got away in a silver vehicle similar to a Ford transit van with tinted windows.
