‘Share Parents of Utah’ supports parents grieving the loss of a baby

Local News

The people at “Share Parents of Utah” know what it’s like to lose a child.

The non-profit organization’s purpose is to provide support toward those healing after the death of a baby through pregnancy loss, stillbirth, or in the first few months of life.

Anyone who has lost a baby through miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, or newborn death is welcome to call Share Parents of Utah and attend one of their support group meetings.

For some people, just knowing that your experience is valid and that you are not alone can be very beneficial in working through your grief.

Share provides education and resources on the needs and rights of bereaved parents and siblings.

This Saturday they are holding their annual Walk for Remembrance and Hope at the International Peace Gardens located at 900 West 1060 South in Salt Lake City.

Come enjoy beautiful music, a moving dove release and an emotional name reading, followed by a leisurely walk around the gorgeous gardens, refreshments and mingling with other Share Parents.

Registration begins at 12:30 p.m. The program will start at 1:30 p.m.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs and blankets.
