Sevier County man dead after crash on SR-24 near Salina

SEVIER COUNTY (News4Utah) An elderly man is dead after a crash in Sevier County Thursday.

The crash happened around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Utah Highway Patrol said a silver 2007 Ford Ranger was traveling on SR-24 when the driver, Con M. Anderson, of Aurora, lost control of the truck. 

The truck veered off the left side of the roadway went through a fence and into a field. The vehicle rolled and eventually came to rest on its roof.

Emergency crews pronounced 86-year-old Anderson dead on the scene. Officials believe he began to suffer a medical condition and that caused him to lose control of the truck.
