SALT LAKE COUNTY (News4Utah)- Emergency crews were busy cleaning up Interstate 15 Monday night after several vehicles hit a treadmill that was in the roadway.
Troopers say the treadmill was knocked onto the road after the truck that was carrying it was involved in a crash on the collector lane of I-15 at 2700 South.
The treadmill was reportedly secured, but troopers say the force of the crash knocked it out of the truck and over the wall divider onto the main lanes of the freeway.
Six different vehicles were unable to avoid hitting the treadmill, but luckily nobody was injured, officials said.
A child and a woman were injured in the initial collision. They were taken to the hospital but are expected to be okay.
