Several injured on Lake Powell after microburst

Local News
PAGE, Ariz. (ABC4 Utah) – Several people are injured after a microburst was along the Utah-Ariz. border.

Coconino County Sheriff’s deputies responded to several injuries, overturned water craft with occupants in the water, and other needs on Lake Powell and throughout the area.  Photos show uprooted trees in Page, Ariz.

Authorities say the most serious water related injuries and damage appear to have occurred on the Utah side of the lake. A 60-year-old  woman lost an arm and a 57-year-old woman suffered head and hip injuries when their houseboat flipped.
