DAYBREAK, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – Forty-five veteran residents in a senior living community in Daybreak were honored Friday for their service.

Sagewood’s Community Walk of Remembrance features memorabilia and personal belongings from various wars all commemorate those who risked their lives.

One of the highlights it the Wall of Honor. It holds a photo of each veteran living in the small community.

“We are doing or veterans walk of remembrance, we did it last year and we’re trying to make it an annual thing. What we’re doing is we’re putting out little displays of what our veterans did while they were in the military so many years ago,” said Kelsey Meha, Assistant Wellness Director at Sagewood at Daybreak.

The display will be open Saturday from 11 to 3 p.m.
