Semi crash causes delays as fuel and oils spill unto freeway

SOUTH SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (ABC4News) – A semi crash hauling frozen goods crashed in interstate 15 early Thursday morning. 

According to officials the semi truck was traveling northbound when it crashed into a cement barrier on the highway near 2100 South. 

Minor injuries were reported and no one was transported to the hospital.

Some fuel and oil were spilled in the HOV lanes as a result of the accident, officials said. 

Authorities say four lanes have been closed as fire crews assist in cleaning up the fuel and oil spill from the crash. An assessment and cause of the crash is currently on going.
