PLEASANT GROVE, Utah (News4Utah) – Pleasant Grove police are investigating after a body was found in a home Tuesday morning.
Police said during a zoning investigation in the area of 100 North Main Street, officers found a body in a residence.
Due to “extenuating circumstances, including prior history and evidence at the scene,” police said the bomb squad was called in to make the house secure. Several residents and John Hancock School were initially evacuated as a precaution.
The area was eventually cleared and deemed safe.
Officers and investigators are currently conducting a death investigation.
