SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (News4Utah) – The Salt Lake County Board of Health has voted to remain neutral on a ballot initiative to legalize medical marijuana.
During a meeting on Thursday, there was a lot of debate within board members on whether to oppose Proposition 2 or remain neutral.
According to board members, while medical marijuana could benefit some people, there are red flags with the way the proposition is written, mainly with the dispensing provisions of the ballot initiative.
