suspect captured

MILLCREEK, Utah (ABC4 Utah)- A man who police say robbed a tobacco store Monday, is in custody thanks to the help of three witnesses.

It happened near 3900 South 400 East. Our cameras were on scene when police arrested the suspect, now identified as 57-year-old Glade James.

According to Unified police, after the robbery occurred three citizens tackled the man.

The police department has been busy with several robberies overnight, but they say it appears James is not connected to any of them.

He has been booked into Salt Lake County jail on charges of strong arm robbery, assault, and unrelated felony warrants.

This is a developing story.
