Residents return home after gas leak forces evacuations in Alpine

ALPINE, Utah (ABC4 News) – More than 20 homes were evacuated as Lone Peak Fire crews responded to the scene of a natural gas leak in Alpine Wednesday afternoon. 

The evacuations occurred from 500-700 North Main, and on Pioneer from Main to Grove Drive. 

Evacuations were in place for several hours, but residents have since been allowed back into their homes.
