WASHINGTON (ABC4 News) – On Tuesday, the House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy announced that Rep. Chris Stewart will remain on the House Intelligence Committee this session.
“I am grateful for the trust of my colleagues and for the opportunity to continue serving on the House Intelligence Committee. I am constantly reminded of the sacrifices of the men and women protecting our country. We live in a dangerous time and the work we do is vital in protecting our national security. said Stewart, in a press release.
The House Intelligence Committee is responsible for overseeing 17 elements of the government and military intelligence programs
Rep. Stewart will also serve in the Appropriations Committee and the House Committee on the Budget.
