SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (News4Utah) – The Renaissance Festival at the Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts also known as SPA invites attendees to enjoy Shakespeare performances.

SPA and Highland High School’s’ award winning students in theater, dance, and music show their best skills through their performances.

The festival launches you back into “days of yore” with strolling minstrels, interactive lessons in weaponry, knights and jousting, an artists’ marketplace, face-painting, jail, stockade, tarot readings, raffle prizes, and more.

The Salt Lake School for the Performing Arts (SLSPA) is sponsored by the Salt Lake City School District as a public charter high school for students who are passionate about music, theater, dance, and media.

All proceeds from the Renaissance Festival will go to fund the arts programs at SLSPA.
