A shooting at a country music festival in Las Vegas on Sunday night left 58 people dead and more than 500 injured, making it the deadliest shooting in modern American history.
In our own state 27-year-old Cameron Robinson of St. George was killed. Robinson was at the concert with his boyfriend.
Family says he loved to cook, entertain, run marathons, travel, go camping, boating, and the outdoors in general and above all surround himself with those he loved and others. He traveled to Vegas for work.

Wife and mother Dorene Anderson,49. She was visiting Las Vegas with her husband and two daughters when she was killed. Anderson was the treasurer for the Cowbell CREW, a nonprofit based in Anchorage, Alaska, that supports local hockey teams.
Commercial fisherman Adrian Murfitt, 35 of Anchorage, Alaska
Brett Schwanbeck, 61 was at the concert with his fiance. He loved his family dearly and cherished lake trips, family gatherings, hunting, camping and spending time with his kids and grandkids.
Hannah Ahlers,34 a Murrieta resident, was shot in the head, according to witnesses. She is survived by three children.
Carrie Barnette, 34 was a Riverside native who worked for Disney for 10 years.
Jack Beaton, 54 and his wife, Laurie, were celebrating their 23rd wedding anniversary with friends at the concert. He was shot while shielding his wife from gunfire.
Candice Bowers,40 was a mother of two from Garden Grove.
Sandy Casey, 35 a middle school special education teacher living in Redondo Beach.
Andrea Castilla, 28 she was in Las Vegas celebrating her 28th birthday. Her boyfriend was reportedly waiting for the right moment to propose.
Denise Cohen, 57 a mother of two sons, died at the concert along with Lt. Derrick “Bo” Taylor, her boyfriend,
Austin Davis, 29 . According to his Facebook, he graduated from Centenial High School in San Diego, and worked as a pipefitter at UA Local 364.
Thomas Day Jr., 54 of Riverside brought his whole family to the concert.
Christiana Duarte, 22 she graduated from the University of Arizona and worked as a fan services associate for the Los Angeles Kings.
Stacee Etcheber,50 a mother to a 10-year-old boy and a 13-year-old girl, was at the concert with her husband Vinnie Etcheber, a San Francisco police officer. She was missing after the concert. Her family later learned she had died.
Brian Fraser, 49 of La Palma was vice president of sales for Greenpath Funding. He was at the concert with nearly 20 close friends and family, including his wife, son, and daughter-in-law. None of whom were injured.
Keri Galvan, 31 mother of three ages 10, 4, and 2. She had worked for Mastro’s Steakhouse for almost a decade.
Dana Gardner, 50 worked for San Bernardino County. She is survived by three children: Anthony, Ryan and Kayla. Kayla was with her mother and was injured in the shooting.
Angela Gomez, 20 graduated from Riverside Polytechnic High School in 2015
Chris Hazencomb, spent his 44th birthday with his mother four days before he was killed. His mother chose to take him off of life support Monday.
Jennifer T. Irvine, 42 practiced criminal and family laws and owned her own boutique firm in San Diego.
Nicol Kimura,38 went to the festival with a group of seven men and women who call themselves “framily”. She was a 1997 graduate of El Dorado High School in Placentia
Victor Link, 52 had just returned from a Europe trip with his fiance when he headed to Las Vegas.
Kelsey Breanne Meadows,28 was a substitute teacher at Taft Union High School in Kern County.
Patricia “Pati” Mestas,67 she loved country music, traveling and her family. Mestas was a retired gas station, convenience store and deli manager
Austin Meyer, 24 was at the concert with his fiancé, Dana Getreu, to celebrate his 24th birthday.
Jenny Parks, 35 kindergarten teacher in Lancaster, California.
Rachael Parker, 33 a police records technician with Manhattan Beach Police Department.
Lisa Patterson,46 was a mother of three and “constant presence” at the local girls softball league, where she and her husband donated time to help girls of the community.
John Phippen, 56. He was a father of six, was attending the music festival with his son, Travis, who was injured and is being treated at a Las Vegas hospital.
Melissa Ramirez, 26 graduated from Cal State Bakersfield in 2014.
Jordyn Rivera, 21 was a fourth-year student at Cal State San Bernardino’s Health Care Management program.
Rocio Guillen Rocha, 40 was a mother of four, including a 1-month-old baby boy, a family member said. She is also survived by her fiance.
Chris Roybal, a 28-year-old Afghanistan War veteran, was shot in the chest and died, according to witnesses. The Corona resident was celebrating his birthday in Las Vegas.
Bailey Schweitzer, 20 of Bakersfield helped run her family’s business, Bakersfield Speedway. She was a cheerleader in high school and played volleyball.
Susan Smith, 53 a resident of Simi Valley, California. Worked as office manager at local elementary school.
Lt. Derrick “Bo” Taylor, 56 a 29-year veteran of the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation who led inmates fighting wildfires. Taylor was at the concert with his girlfriend Denise Cohen, who also died.
Kurt Von Tillow, 55 a husband, father and grandfather from northern California. He was with his wife at the time, who was not injured.
Michelle Vo, 32 of Pasadena was an insurance agent at New York Life.
Jessica Klymchuk, 28 of Valleyview, Alberta. She was an educational assistant, librarian and bus driver for St. Stephen’s School, said the Holy Family Catholic Regional Division.
Calla Medig, 28, took time off from her job at a Moxie’s restaurant to attend the music festival.
Jordan McIldoon, 23, of Maple Ridge, British Columbia. He was a mechanic’s apprentice.
Tara Roe, 34, was in Las Vegas with her husband and another couple. She was an educational assistant with Foothills School Division in Alberta, Canada and a model for Sophia Models International.
Carly Kreibaum, 33. Her passion for art lives on in an Iowa flower shop, where she painted flowers on the storefront.
Rhonda LeRocque, 42 of Tewksbury was a minister’s wife. She leaves behind her husband and young daughter.
Steve Berger, 44 was a father of three. He was in Las Vegas with friends to celebrate his 44th birthday.
Lisa Romero-Muniz,48 a high school secretary from Gallup.
Charleston Hartfield,34- Off-duty Las Vegas police officer and youth football coach.
Quinton Robbins, 20 of Henderson. He was the oldest of three children, a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and a student at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas.
Laura Shipp, 50 spent two days at the festival with her son. At some point they became separated and he spent the next day looking for his mother.
Erick Silva, 21 lived in Las Vegas and worked for the Contemporary Services Corporation, according to his stepsister, Daisy Hernandez.
Brennan Stewart, 30 killed in the attack, as he shielded his girlfriend and helped others to safety, his family said in a statement. His rendition of Cole Swindell’s ‘You Should Be Here” went viral the Wednesday after the shooting.
Neysa Tonks,46 of Las Vegas, who worked at Technologent, an Irvine, California-based technology company. She was a mother of 3. Tonks grew up in Utah and attended Brighton High School, according to her Facebook page. A GoFundMe has also been set up for her family.
Bill Wolfe Jr., 42 he coached for Shippensburg Little League and Shippensburg Greyhound Wrestling in Philadelphia.
Sonny Melton, 29 a Tennessee registered nurse. His wife says he saved her life when he wrapped his arm around her back to protect her from the bullets.
Carrie Parsons,31 lived in Seattle. She was on a girls trip when she died at the concert.
Denise Burditus,50 of Martinsburg died in her husband’s arms.
The Sunday night shooting has become the deadliest in modern U.S. history. Besides the 58 fatalities over 500 people were injured. Police said that after the shooting, the lone suspect was found dead when authorities stormed his Mandalay Bay hotel room.
