SALT LAKE COUNTY, Utah (ABC4 Utah) Police have identified human remains found up Millcreek Canyon on October 5.
Police say a hiker and his dog came across bones near Dog Lake up Millcreek Canyon on October 5.
Wednesday, those remains were positively identified as Blake Richardson, 24. Richardson was reported missing in December 2016.

Richardson had been spotted in Millcreek Canyon last December, but when his dog was found running alone in a picnic area, it was taken to shelter. Richardson’s father found the dog on the shelter listing days latr and called police to report him missing.
