OREM, Utah (ABC4 News) – National broadcast journalist Jane Clayson Johnson is making a stop at Utah Valley University for its Utah Women’s Speaker & Dialogue Series.

Johnson’s topic of discussion will be “Silent Souls Weeping: Emerging from Depression with Strength and Hope.”

Johnson has an upcoming book with the title “Silent Souls Weeping” and it offers a candid look inside the core-shaking world of depression. In the book Johnson addresses the desperate, dark, and lonely reality faced by those who struggle with clinical depression.

In her upcoming book she draws upon numerous real-life experiences to open a dialogue with honesty, authenticity, and hope for those who suffer.

Johnson is a best-selling author who is known for her decades of work at CBS News, ABC News, and National Public Radio.

Women 12 and older and those who influence them are invited to attend the event, which will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019, from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Grande Ballroom of UVU’s Sorensen Center. There is no cost to attend, but those who wish to come should register here.
