SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah (ABC4 Utah) – Granite School District is set to hold public meetings this week on a proposed $238 million dollar bond initiative to rebuild and renovate schools in the district.
If voters approve the 10-year bond, it would fund 14 school rebuilds – including Cyprus High School and Skyline High School – and 17 major remodels. The money would also allow the district to provide all schools will revitalizing upgrades as needed, such as seismic improvements, security upgrades and general maintenance updates, according to a press release sent out by the district’s communications office.
The meetings will include a brief presentation on the bond followed by questions from the community.
