Project Leap, changing lives one dance at a time

Local News

BOUNTIFUL, Utah (ABC4 News) – A Bountiful based dance program is being taught by professional dancers from Ballet West and other dance companies.

Every week Project Leap brings in kids ages six to thirteen who wouldn’t’t normally be able to afford dance classes and teach them.

Surrounding dance companies donate dance clothes and shoes for the kids to wear in their classes.

The program was started by former dancer Hannah Sterling who says the project is necessary for kids. Project Leap treated kids to a special trip this week to see the Nutcracker at Capital Theater.

The groups mission is to change lives one dance at a time.
