HONEYVILLE–The Utah Department of Transportation plans to close I-15 in Box Elder County twice this week.
The closures will take place Tuesday and Wednesday Nov. 14th and 15th from 7 p.m. to 8 a.m. at Exit 372 in Honeyville.
UDOT says both directions will be closed as crews demolish a bridge. Traffic will be diverted onto the off and on ramps where they will be able to continue on the interstate.
In addition, lanes might close intermittently throughout the week.
Drivers worried about time can use alternate routes such as SR-13 or SR-38.
The bridge is expected to open back up in April 2018. During the closure ramps will remain open and drivers heading east-west over I-15 will be detoured to the interchanges to the north (Exit 376, Tremonton/Garland) and south (Exit 365, 900 North).
