Police: Woman stabs man and herself after argument in Ogden

OGDEN, Utah (ABC4 News) – A man was transported to the hospital after he was stabbed during an argument in Ogden, according to police. 

The incident happened at 4:35 p.m. near 1071 22nd Street when a man and a woman were arguing in the back bedroom of a home. 

The man attempted to leave the bedroom when police said the woman stabbed him in the back and then stabbed herself. 

The man was taken to the hospital in “stable” condition with non-life-threatening injuries, according to police. The woman, however, was transported in critical condition to the hospital. 

Police are not sure of the relationship between the two at this time, but they said there were witnesses at the home at the time of the incident that they are interviewing to figure out exactly what happened.
