Police seek 2 suspects caught on camera

EAST MILLCREEK, Utah (News4Utah) – Two men are caught on camera acting suspiciously near a Millcreek home, and police believe they could be tied to a string of home burglaries.

“Two people come up to their home, ring the doorbell, which activated a ring doorbell system, security video system, which showed two males,” said Lt. Brian Lohrke with Unified Police Department.

Police say the two men were seen on surveillance video in the middle of January; they are releasing the video now in hopes of getting the two men arrested.

“We got hammered by a lot of home burglaries,” said Lohrke.

On video, one man crouches down to look under a partially open garage door; other clips show the two going to the front door and ringing the doorbell.

Police say that the home burglaries around that same time appear to be similar in nature: somebody rings the doorbell during the day to check if anybody is home — and then the home is burglarized.
