Police: Pair hid man’s body in closet after overdose

PROVO (News4Utah)- Two people are behind bars, accused of hiding a body in a closet of a Provo home.

Police say Dallas Juggert and Mary Mace were with the victim, identified as Anthony Tanner, when he died of an overdose on April 7th.

“Juggert and Mace were scared to report it because they had been using drugs,” Provo police said.

On April 13th police received a tip that their was a body in a closet of a home in the Castlebook area. Investigators learned that Juggert and Mace were trying to get help to dispose of the body.

Thursday, they were located at a Valley Inn in Provo.

They were both booked on charges of desecration of a body, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
