DRAPER, Utah (News4Utah) – Police in Draper are looking for three men they say stole beer from a convenience store and assaulted the clerk.

Draper police say three young men went into the 7-Eleven at 12292 South Lone Peak Parkway Tuesday night around 11. Two of the men picked up beer and then all three left the store without paying.

As the three men headed toward a parked car, they were followed by the clerk. Police say there was a struggle between one of the men and the clerk.

Once the suspects were inside the car, the clerk continued to confront the men through an open door. The driver reversed the car and knocked the clerk to the ground before the car took off.

Police said the clerk sustained minor injuries.

Police have released surveillance images of the suspect in the hope that someone can help identify them. The car is described as a newer model black 4-door sedan. The make and model are unknown.

If anyone recognizes any of the three men in the photos, you’re asked to contact Draper City Police Department at 801-840-4000.
