Police looking for armed Park City robbery suspect

PARK CITY – Police are currently searching for an armed robbery suspect who held a Subway clerk at knifepoint on Sunday.

The robbery occurred at 1612 West Ute Boulevard just before 2:15 p.m. this afternoon according to Summit County Sheriff’s Lt. Andrew Wright. 

The suspect entered the store and held the clerk at knifepoint with a large knife while demanding money from the register. The suspect then took off in a sliver passenger vehicle.

There were no customers in the store at the time of the robbery and no injuries were reported.

The suspect is a male in his late 20’s to early 30’s and is approximately six feet two inches tall. He was wearing a black hat and mask at the time of the robbery.

It is unknown if any money was taken due to a language barrier between the clerk and police.
