Police looking for alleged ‘Peeping Tom’ near South Salt Lake apartments

SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah (ABC4 Utah)- Police in South Salt Lake are asking those who live at the Mountain Shadows apartment complex to keep an eye out for an alleged “Peeping Tom” in the area.

South Salt Lake police Sgt. Gary Keller said just before 5 a.m. Wednesday a woman living in the complex called police after she claims she saw a person looking in her window.

Officers arrived and chased the suspect, but they lost track of him.

Sgt. Keller said this issue has been going at the apartment complex, located at 3825 South 700 West, for some time. He says they have had four other calls of voyeurism. The first incident was back in August. Since then, resident have been warned to keep an eye out.

The suspect is described as a male in his mid 20’s with shoulder length curly, dark hair. Wednesday he was seen wearing a green hoodie.
