UINTA COUNTY, Wyo. (News4Utah)- An inmate is behind bars, again, after police say he disarmed a detention officer and took off in a stolen vehicle.

It happened Tuesday morning at the Uinta County Court House.

Police say the inmate, Jonathan Olivares, overpowered and disarmed the officer and then took off in a 2008 Ford Escape, with the weapon.

He was captured a short time later and no other injuries were reported, investigators say.

This is a developing story. Updates will be posted as they become available.
