KAYSVILLE, Utah (ABC4 News) – Police in Kaysville are hoping the public can help identify a man who went on a crime spree in their city early Saturday morning.

According to a post on their Facebook, a man driving what appears to be a newer black Audi Q5 attempted to break into Biker’s Edge located at 232 Main Street using a pipe wrench.

“Fortunately the door won the fight and kept the burglar out,” said the post. “About 30 minutes goes by and our burglar shows up at Big O Tires, breaks a window in a garage door then climbs through the jagged hole into a bay where he immediately commandeers a Toyota Sequoia.”

The man backed up through the garage door to make his escape.

The man then drove east on 320 North, parked along the road, right behind his black possible Audi Q5, exited the stolen Sequoia then left the area in the Audi.

Kaysville Police are hoping the public can help identify him.

“Please take a close look at our suspect and help us identify him,” said the post. “He is wearing a charcoal colored jacket w/ a lighter colored horizontal stripe across the body, what appears to be a paintball mask, tan skinny pants, and some cool Nike kicks that appear to be black with white contrasts.”

Police said he was also wearing gloves.

Anyone with information is asked to call Kaysville Police at (801) 546-1131
