Police hoping to identify woman seen stealing dog from ‘Puppy Barn’ in Vineyard

Local News

VINEYARD, Utah (ABC4 News) – Utah County Sheriff’s Department is hoping the public can help identify a woman seen on security camera stealing a dog from the Puppy Barn in Vineyard.

The woman was seen on May 1 stealing a Goldendoodle from the store, valued around $1,200.

Police said an employee at the store saw the dog just a few minutes before she noticed it missing and called the Sheriff’s Office.  A manager provided security video that showed a woman who appeared to be in her twenties, with blonde hair, holding the puppy as she walked toward the exit, paused for a moment, covered the dog, and walked out the door with the dog.

Anyone who recognizes this woman, or who might know where the dog is, is asked to call the Utah County Sheriff’s Office at (801)794-3970.
