WEST VALLEY CITY (News4Utah) – Utah law enforcement officers and firefighters faced off for a good cause Saturday afternoon at the Maverik Center.

It was the 15th annual Guns and Hoses Classic Charity hockey game. Every year, Salt Lake’s finest take on the city’s bravest to raise money for first responders, their families and other service-oriented organizations.

This year’s beneficiaries are the University of Utah Burn Camps and The Mascot Miracles Foundation. Last year’s game raised 14 thousand dollars and they are hoping Saturday’s event did even better.
