HURRICANE, Utah (ABC4 News) – A 22-year-old woman reported being raped by a man who she met online in Hurricane on Friday.
According to arresting records, the woman reported to police she met Conner Glen Lloyd-Butterfield, 24, on Friday after she had met him a couple of weeks earlier online and through a mutual friend.
She said Lloyd-Butterfield picked her up at her house and he said he wanted to take her to a place he knew where he liked to go and relax. She said they drove past the Sand Hollow State park and took a dirt road, arresting documents state.
Lloyd-Butterfield then pulled over and while they were talking, he reached over and grabbed her breasts and asked if that ok. She told him no.
Documents state the woman said he took her to the backseat and continually said he was sorry as he kept touching her body.
The woman said she kept telling him no he pulled her shorts to the side and raped her. She said she told him to stop and then froze up because she didn’t know what to do. She said he also asked her if she liked it rough and he put his hand around her neck, documents state.
Later that day, the woman went to the hospital for a sexual assault examination and called police.
Lloyd-Butterfield was located in Iron County and arrested by Iron County Deputies. He was booked into the Washington County Jail and has been charged with sevreal first-degree felonies including rape, forcible sodomy and object rape and two second-degree felony charges of forcible sex abuse and aggravated assault.
