PLEASANT GROVE, Utah (ABC4 News) – Pleasant Grove Fire Department shared some praise for its firefighters Tuesday.

“#NewYearNewMe? Nope. New year, new fire, same awesome crews,” the department wrote in a post on Facebook.

The department said a tow truck caught fire in Pleasant Grove early Tuesday morning near 700 South Pleasant Grove Boulevard.

It happened right at shift change. Members of the A and C Platoons responded to the situation and firefighters got the fire under control within seconds of arrival.

Fire officials said no one was inside the truck at the time.
