FAIRFIELD, Utah (News4Utah) – A pilot walked away with very minor injuries after a hard landing in a filed in Fairfield Sunday morning.
Utah County Sheriff Sgt. Spencer Cannon said it was an experimental plane that landed just about 9 a.m. in a field just off Highway 73 and near Camp Floyd State Park.
While officials have not said if there were any other occupants, it is believed there was just the one pilot on board.
This is a developing story. ABC4 has a crew on scene and will provide additional details as soon as they are released.
