Person injured in early morning Salt Lake City house fire

SALT LAKE CITY (News4Utah) – Fire crews in Salt Lake City say a person was seriously injured in a house fire on 402 N. Center Street near the state capitol. 

The fire broke out around 1 a.m. Crews told News4Utah the individual may have had to jump out of the second story window.

That victim’s injuries are said to be non-life-threatening. 

Crews are working to determine the cause of the blaze, but said the Home suffered extensive damage.

No other buildings were affected.
