People Helping People of Utah holds Single Mothers Seminar

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4 News) An employment program geared toward single moms is holding a job fair.

Kathryn Christiansen from People Helping People, Clint Morley with Discover Financial Services, Angela Sorich, a PHP client, and joined ABC4 News to talk about the People Helping People event.

PHP’s mission is help single mothers reach self-sufficiency through successful employment where they can earn a living wage. Their employment program prepares its clients to be the best employees. The PHP program teaches from the employer’s perspective helping prepare candidates to excel in their job.

This event is a job fair with more than 40 of the top employers in the Salt Lake area. It’s free for the public to attend. The job fair is not just for single mothers, everyone over 18 is welcome. If you are looking for a job, a new job, or know of people looking to make a career change, this event is right for you. 

The event is March 28th, from 5 to 8:30 p.m. at the IMC Doty Education Center, 5121 Cottonwood Street, Murray, Building #6.
