Passenger of Greyhound bus steers bus to safety after driver passes out

Local News

OREM, Utah (ABC4 News)- A passenger on a Greyhound bus was able to steer the bus to safety after troopers say the driver passed out.

It happened Friday morning on northbound I-15 at milepost 270.

A Utah Highway Patrol trooper had pulled over a vehicle in the area just before the bus pulled over and stopped.

Troopers say a passenger got out of the bus and told the trooper the bus driver was having a medical condition.

The driver was transported to the hospital. Investigators say at one point the bus came in contact with the wall on the left side, but nobody was injured.
